Heritage Lost
Could visual design prompt more thoughtful behavior? Could a simple sign foster respect or encourage reflection before someone unknowingly causes harm?
Street signage stood out to me for its clarity, familiarity, and ability to guide actions in public space without confrontation. By reimagining the visual language of street signs in a cultural preservation context, this project investigates how small design interventions can serve as quiet reminders, tools for connection rather than separation.
In doing so, I hope to show that design has the power not only to inform, but also to protect, preserve, and influence how we engage with heritage.
